Dr. Rebecca Steffens |
Dr. Rebecca K. Steffens grew up in Arlington, TX. She received her Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry (Honors cum Laude) from the University of Oklahoma and graduated dental school from Midwestern University in Illinois. After graduation, Dr. Steffens worked as a general dentist in Texas and Michigan. She then completed a three year Endodontic Residency at the University of Michigan where she received her Masters of Science in Endodontics and was awarded the Philip W. Cohen Memorial Scholarship and the Robert Ellison Award for Outstanding Knowledge of Endodontic Literature. Dr. Steffens is a member of the American Association of Endodontics, South Carolina Dental Association, American Dental Association, Greenville County Dental Society, and the Periodontics of Greenville Study Club. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her dogs Bridget and Teddy, going to the movies, listening to vinyl, and 3D printing. |
Dr. Matthew T. Carpenter |
Dr. Matthew T. Carpenter grew up in Greenville, received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina in 2001, and graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina with his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2007. After graduation, he joined the United States Army and served as a general dentist for four years. He then completed a two year endodontic residency and served as an endodontist for another three years. After completing his commitment to the Army, Dr. Carpenter and his wife could not wait to return home to South Carolina. They decided on upstate to be close to his family, and in 2016 they moved to Greenville with their four children and two dogs. In his spare time, Dr. Carpenter likes to fish and cook. He is currently a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists, the South Carolina Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the Southern Endodontic Study Group, the Seattle Study Group, and the Greenville Dental Society. |
